Q. What courses does Majestic College offer?

Q. What is Majestic College's enrolment procedure and required documentation?
Please first download and print our Enrolment Form. The complete list of requirements are listed on the form which should be submitted together with your initial payment - by UK cheque or sterling draft – which should be made payable to ‘Majestic College’. All applications and accompanying documents need to be assessed within 28 days by our experienced staff before we can accept a student. Please note that incomplete applications cannot be processed
Q. When is the next Student Intake?

Q. What are the requirements that I need to send for the College to generate the Visa Letter?
Please download and print our Enrolment Form. The requirements are listed on the form.
Q. Do you provide the VAF form, checklist, etc?
Student Visas are now applied for online and the requirements can be found at your nearest British Embassy website.
Q. Do I need to secure a police clearance when submitting documentation for enrolment or can that follow later?
We require all documentation listed on the Enrolment Form to be submitted at the same time as the form.
Q. Where and how can I pay my admission fee?
If you are applying from within the UK you can make a payment at Majestic College or by post to the college. If you are applying from abroad you can make the application and send your payment by international bank draft by post, or you could ask a relative or friend to submit the application and payment on your behalf. In all cases, your initial payment - by UK cheque or sterling draft – should be made payable to ‘Majestic College’.
Q. Once the admission fee payment is made, how long will it take for the visa letter/CAS to be issued?
Visa letters or Confirmation of Acceptance of Studies (CAS) will be sent 14 days after cleared funds and correct documentation have been received.
Q. What funds are required to apply for a Student Visa/Tier 4 rules?
On a course of more than 9 months you will be required to show that you have the first year of the tuition fees plus either £7,200 or £5,400 depending on whether you intend to study inside or outside of the Inner London Boroughs.
For students of Majestic College, the amount required is £5,400 plus the first year’s tuition fees and this amount must be held in your personal bank account for a minimum period of 28 days. The end of that 28 day period must not be more than one month before the date of your application, for which you must show bank statements/other evidence. You must provide the correct documents to support your application.
Q. Can I bring my dependants? How much money do I need to show in my bank account?
You can bring your dependants subject to meeting the requirements for living expenses.
According to The Home Office and for students studying outside London (which includes Majestic College):
The family member of a Tier 4 (General) Student who is studying in outer London or anywhere else in the United Kingdom must have £400 per month up to a maximum of 9 months, to support himself/herself. For example, if the Tier 4 (General) Student who is studying in outer London or anywhere else in the United Kingdom is making an application at the same time as his/her spouse and two children. He/she must show that he/she has £400 for his/her spouse and a further £400 for each child, in addition to £600 required for his/her own support. In total the family will require evidence that they hold £1800 in available funds (£400 x 3 = £1200 + £600) per month up to a maximum of 9 months.

Q. Do you provide work placements for the students?
The College may be able to assist students to find a suitable work placement in an adult care setting.
Q. How many allowed hours can I work on a Student Visa?

Q. Can Majestic College help me process my Student Visa application?
Majestic College can recommend you to a qualified Immigration Adviser to assist you with your visa processing.
Q. If I don't have any friends or family in the UK, can Majestic College help with accommodation?
Majestic College can put you in touch with a number of sources for help with accommodation.
Q. On arrival in the UK, how soon should I report to Majestic College?
You should report to Majestic College in person within 48 hours of arrival.
Q. Opening hours
The College is open to the public for general enquiries between the hours of 10am to 5pm, Monday to Friday during term time except for UK Public Holidays. Students are required to follow their timetable and study between the hours of 9am to 6pm Monday to Friday.
Q. Does my employer need a letter from Majestic College to confirm that I am in full-time study and will be assessed by an assessor?
Your Acceptance or Visa Letter pack gives full details of the course and confirms you are a student at Majestic College. You do not need an additional letter from the College to confirm this to your employer.
Q. Does my employer need a letter from Majestic College to confirm how many hours I am allowed to work?
Majestic College provides students with a copy of the relevant immigration rules which outline the number of hours you are allowed to work. You do not need an additional letter from the College to confirm this to your employer. See also the Home Office guide on the top of this page.
Q. Can I work with children?
Majestic College only offers NVQ courses in Health and Social Care for adults. It is therefore not appropriate for the work placement to be in a children’s care environment.
Q. Am I still allowed to transfer college or change course under the new rules?
You are allowed to change course or provider subject to UK Home Office authorisation. Check the Home Office/UK Border Agency website for full guidance.
Q. How does your class schedule work? How many times do I have to attend the college?
You will be given a detailed schedule of classes upon arrival. In the meantime, please see the College Timetable.
Q. Do students need an IELTS (International English Language Testing System) pass before applying for a Student Visa?
Students need to demonstrate a level of competence in English. An IELTS or equivalent English test will be required to enrol with Majestic College. Further assistance with English is available at the College should it be required. To find out more about IELTS, contact your nearest British Council office or check their website.
Q. What are the procedures and guidelines at Majestic College that I need to follow?
In line with Home Office requirements you need to maintain good academic progress, good attendance record, and financial ability to support your study.

Q. What funds are required in my bank account to extend my Visa whilst in the UK?

Q. Do I get a refund if I decide to cancel my enrolment with Majestic or if my application has been refused?
The initial £500 Enrolment Fee is non-refundable. However, 50% of the Fee is refunded if you are refused a Student Visa.
Q. If my Student Visa application is refused, do you help with lodging an appeal? If so, what is the fee?
Majestic College can recommend you to a qualified OISC registered Immigration Adviser to assist you with your in country appeal or out of country Administrative Review. There is no longer a right of appeal under Tier 4 student visa applications. Since all cases are different, you will be informed of the fee based on your individual circumstances.
Q. Do you have agents or approved agents based overseas?
We have a number of approved overseas agents and if you require their assistance in processing your visa, please email us with your request and your name and address. We will forward your details to the nearest available agent. If you are using the services of an overseas agent we advise you to check with Majestic College that they are an officially appointed and approved agent.
Q. Agents: What do I need to provide to become an agent?
At present Majestic College is not taking on new agents until further notice as we have sufficient agency coverage.
